    6 hours is not a fair tile limit and is not allowed in contract law. It is called an unreasonable time limit. Guy get a lawyer, Ramsay is out of his element here. 00:03:00 Also this can be argued to have been signed under duress, which also makes the contract not cool.

    I used to finance my cars and arbitraged the interest rate vs what I was making in market but I don’t do that anymore. I just pay cash for them now. It’s a lot more simple and the rates aren’t what they were a few years ago.

    Brianna from Phoenix, AZ; she should have communicate with her dad or a trusted guy friend(car guy), and went car shopping together. I'm not sure if she went alone or with her mom, but dealership take advantage of the young, especially females. But that's no excuse, because she's the one who decided to buy a car that she can't afford, to impress her friends who probably got free rides without offering to pay for gas. She could have got a decent Toyota or Honda under $10k private sale, that would last 5-10 years until she finish school, and her income increase to buy a car cash. She's 20, hopefully she leaned her lesson.

    I feel for old people in this situation. 69 years old here and end each month with about $1 in my account. Thanks to medical negligence / malpractice / fraud I lost everything. I am selling my life's remnants on eBay to pay for car insurance and to have gas to go to the market. I cut my hair myself. I haven't bought anything new to wear in years, not even any new underwear. I was going braless because I could not afford a new one, then a kind lady gave me two that did not fit her. She has been a blessing. I am learning to do my own auto repairs. I grow some of my food. What I am learning at 69 years of age is I am not a quitter and that being poor requires creativity, resiliency and talent. It is not boring. It's a challenge and I am rising to the occasion. Keep the faith. Because God does provide. ❤

    This is way over simplified and leaves out so much context. $500 pretax is cheaper than $500 Roth when you contribute. You can invest more with pretax and have it affect your net income the same. Also most people have less taxes in retirement than they will in their working years on those pretax funds. Also $400k of $1.7 mil is 23%. You have to have crap Ton of money in retirement to have an effective tax rate of 23% with today’s tax brackets. Roth is great and everyone should max out a Roth IRA, but Roth isn’t always the right answer and for most people doing pretax with their 401k is more beneficial.

    It’s never made sense to lease- you take a loan out for half the vehicle then when you turn it in you start all over? So basically your renting a car long term and will you never ever own it just so you can drive a new car every 3 years. You’ll never be able to pay it off, keep the car for 10-20 years and not have a 500-600 payment

    I thonk the person wanted to hear, "You are under no legal obligation to release that money to them." It's pretty obvious what the situation was. If the caller had been named beneficiary because of estrangement reasons, or the kids were drug addicted criminals etc... he certainly would have mentioned it. He knows what is right, frels tempted to ignore it and wanted an out to ease his guilty feelings.

    No Dave. Landlords have to give you like a 30 day renewal notice. Not 6 hours. Of course a landlord would stick up for a landlord. Dave saying they did nothing wrong? And John sticking by Dave?

    This is BS. There are calculators online for this. I live in the NE and plan to be based in Florida and live abroad. I would need 1/6 of my income at most. If I don’t use a 401K today not only would I not invest tax free money but my overall income will move to a higher bracket! So I would need to pay like 18K more in taxes!!! Then at the age of 59, my taxes would be like $4K a year 😂

    Speaking on the “Levitical law” thing. The was way I think to debunk his statement is that he tells Christians to tithe; which is a levitical and Deuteronomy command. God’s commands and laws are good for us. I used to believe like Dave but that’s mainstream bad theology and doctrine. He’s right on the usury, but should’ve left it at that. Now he taught someone to disobey God. And this is why Jews don’t accept Jesus. Christian’s teach a law changer as their messiah.

    Credit score does not disappear, nor become zero when you don't use your credit for a year. Credit history usually stays on the report for about 7 years, and if the balances are zero on credit cards and no other debt, that becomes zero utilization rate which is amazing for your credit score. If you want to keep building your credit payment history, you can get a secure credit card which is your own money. You could request the Credit B. to add some of your regular bills (phone, water, rent) as payment history.

    • @sistahinscrubs
      @sistahinscrubs 20 годин тому

      @@saulgoodman2018 I truly think they had a deadline date. And they waited until the last day which only gave them 6 hours left of that day. When I renew my lease or if I’m moving out, I’m require to give a 60 day notice. On the last day (of the 60) my rent will increase and renew as month to month if I don’t sign a lease. If I move without notice I’m required to pay that full month at market rate.

    I hope Dave is right and industry would change but they don't. It's all about making money. It's all about bad management as well is the same with nursing, they want to pay for school, they won't pay the nurses more so they work them to death, and now they can't hire foreign nurses for cheap either because there are not enough Visa and then they wonder why we are quitting in Mass when we have to take care of 30 patients at one time which is of course not realistic.
